# The automation log: what runs on its own

> Settings → Automation log lists the jobs that run automatically for your company, when each last ran, what they did recently — and a Run now button for each.

**What runs automatically**, and how often:
- **Deliver webhooks** — every minute; see [Webhooks](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/webhooks).
- **Send queued email** — every minute; the outbox for invoices, reminders and anything the mail server did not accept first time. Up to five attempts per message.
- **Create recurring invoices** — every 15 minutes; see [Recurring invoices](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/recurring-invoices).
- **Post recurring journals** and **Post scheduled reversals** — every 15 minutes; see [Recurring journal entries](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/recurring-journals) and [Reversing entries](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/reversing-entries).
- **Run and email scheduled reports** — every 15 minutes; see [Scheduled report delivery](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/scheduled-reports).
- **Send automatic payment reminders** — every hour, only when *Send reminders automatically* is on; see [Payment reminders and dunning](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/payment-reminders).
- **Create preventive-maintenance service orders** — every six hours; see [Service contracts and preventive maintenance](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/service-contracts).

**How do I run one now?** Press *Run now* on its row. It runs for this company straight away, even if nothing looks due, and the message says what it did — *created: 2 · checked: 3*, or *nothing to do*. If it failed, the message is the error.

**Recent activity** lists the runs that did something or failed: when, which job, the result, and how long it took. A run with nothing to do is not listed, so a quiet log is normal. History is kept for 30 days. A failure for one job never stops the others.

This is not the same as Settings → [Automations](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/automations), where you build your own trigger → condition → action rules.
