# Cash flow planner

> What is actually going to land in the bank, and when, from the documents already in the books.

Dashboard → Cash Flow Planner.

Built from records rather than assumptions. Five things feed it:

- **Open receivables** at their *predicted* pay date, not their due date — a customer who has always paid at 45 days is projected at 45 days.
- **Open payables** at their due date.
- **Recurring templates** that are scheduled to generate.
- **Payroll** on its run calendar.
- **Loan schedules**, principal and interest.

Because every line traces to a document, you can open any point in the projection and see what it is made of. A dip with no explanation is a bug; a dip you can click into is a plan.

To test a decision rather than a projection, use [Can I afford it?](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/affordability) or the scenario planner.
