# Contact records

> The 360° page for a contact: open and overdue balance, lifetime revenue or twelve-month spend, days to pay, unbilled work, terms, credit limit, tax status and 1099 tracking.

Section: Sales and receivables · Canonical: https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/customers-vendors

Sales → Customers; Purchases → Vendors. *Add a customer* / *Add a vendor*, or type a new name straight into a document's contact field and choose *Add*.

**The record.** Display name, company, emails (the first is the primary recipient), phone, website, address, notes. Under *Terms & billing*: payment terms (or the company default), a credit limit (blank for none), and tax status — *Taxable* or *Exempt*. Vendors carry terms, a *Track for 1099* switch, W-9 status and a masked tax id.

**The 360° view** opens from the list. For a customer: open balance with the overdue portion, lifetime revenue and invoice count, median days to pay across paid invoices, and unbilled time and expenses waiting to be invoiced; then a revenue-by-month chart, the transaction stream, and the activity log. For a vendor: open balance, spend over twelve months, open credits, and 1099 status, with spend by month.

**Actions from the record.** *Receive payment* and *New invoice* start those forms with the customer filled in; a vendor page offers the bill and payment equivalents. A customer over their credit limit is flagged on the invoice form and can be placed on hold — see [Credit limits and credit holds](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/credit-hold).

**One company, two sides.** A CRM account and an A/R customer are the same company; creating an opportunity for a customer that has no CRM account yet creates and links one. See [Linking a CRM account to an accounting customer](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/crm-accounting-link).
