# Users, roles and permissions

**Unlimited users on every plan** — you are never charged per seat.

Permissions are granted **per company**, so a bookkeeper can have one company without seeing the others.

**Sensitive permissions worth knowing:**
- `books.close.override` — post into a closed period
- `sales.credit.override` — exceed a credit limit or write off a debt
- `purchases.approve` — approve bills and requisitions
- `vendors.bank.view` — see vendor bank details
- `recon.adjust` — finish a reconciliation with a forced adjustment
- `api.keys.manage` — issue API keys

Every use of an override permission is written to the audit log with the reason given.
