Banking → Receipts Inbox.

**Adding receipts.** *Upload receipt*, or drag files onto the page — PDF, image (PNG, JPG, HEIC), or text, CSV and email files. On a phone, use the same upload to pick a photo. There is no receipts email address to forward to yet, whatever the page's drop zone suggests.

**What is read off it.** For a text or CSV receipt, the total, date and tax are picked out where they can be found. Images and PDFs are not read — type the details when you use them. The card shows vendor, date, total and whether it is matched.

**Matching to the bank.** When you review a bank line, the match panel lists up to six unmatched receipts nearby — within a dollar of the amount and three days of the date. *Attach* links the receipt to that line; it does not code it. Nothing is attached automatically.

**Create expense** on a receipt opens a short form — vendor, date, amount, category and the account it was paid from — posts the expense and attaches the receipt.

**Why it matters at audit:** a deduction with no receipt is a deduction you may lose. The [catch-up engine](https://intubu.intuitivecapital-dai.com/docs/catch-up) review flags expenses over $75 with no receipt attached.
