Excel Live Link (OData feed) and IntuBu

Status: Available now. Refreshable financial reports and ledger tables directly in Excel.

How it works

Built in: the read-only OData v4 feed at /api/odata, which Excel reads natively. Under Settings → API & Webhooks → Excel & BI, create a read-only API key, then in Excel choose Data → Get Data → From Other Sources → From OData Feed, paste the address (or one of the listed report feeds, such as the profit and loss with its from/to dates), and choose Basic with any user name and the API key as the password. Refresh re-runs the query server-side, so the workbook never holds stale figures; it sees only what the key's scopes allow.

Why it matters

Finance runs on Excel and pretending otherwise just produces exported CSVs that go stale immediately.
