How it works

Bearer tokens scoped to an entity and a workspace. Every route enforces the identical permission chain the UI does — workspace gate, role permission, record rule — because it *is* the same middleware. There is no privileged back door for integrations.

Why it matters

An API with its own weaker permission model is the most common way an audited system stops being audited.
