## How it works

Built in — no third party. A document is classified, then field-extracted into vendor, date, totals, tax and line items; low-confidence fields are flagged for review rather than guessed, and nothing posts until a human confirms or a rule with a confidence floor allows it.

## Why it matters

This is the highest-volume manual task in bookkeeping. Owning it rather than renting it is why import is free here and metered elsewhere.
