MCP Server (Claude Desktop, IDE agents) and IntuBu

Status: Built in. Connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, or your own agent to IntuBu over the Model Context Protocol.

How it works

Streamable HTTP at /api/mcp with a token minted by the signed-in person. The token is the human: read tools return only what that person could open in IntuBu, draft tools create a governed task for review, and no ledger-writing tool exists on the surface. Three risk classes are switched on independently by an administrator; every call is logged with masked arguments; one button stops everything.

Why it matters

An AI that can read the books through a side door is a breach waiting for a prompt. Making the connection carry the person’s own permissions is what lets it be switched on at all.
