OFX / QFX / QIF / CSV file import and IntuBu

Status: Built in. Statement files from any bank or card issuer, imported by hand.

How it works

Built in. Drop a .ofx/.qfx (both the SGML and XML dialects), .qif or .csv export under Banking → Imports; OFX and QIF need no column mapping and OFX carries the bank’s own transaction ids, so duplicate detection is exact. OFX Direct Connect (a scheduled pull with stored bank credentials) is not offered: few banks still support it and Plaid covers the rest.

Why it matters

Aggregators cost money per account and some institutions refuse them. OFX is unglamorous and free.
