Plaid and IntuBu
Status: Available now. Bank and credit-card transaction feeds from ~12,000 institutions.
How it works
Built in. The installation owner adds the Plaid client id and secret once (Banking → Connections → Plaid setup); each company then connects its own banks through Plaid Link. The access token is exchanged server-side and held in the vault. Transactions pull through /transactions/sync by cursor — on webhook, on a six-hourly schedule, or on demand — so a re-sync never duplicates. Each account feeds a ledger account you choose; each line lands in the bank-review queue and is matched against open documents before it can post. Reconnect-required, expiring-consent and revoked states are surfaced on the connection.
Why it matters
Typing bank transactions in by hand is where both the hours and the errors are. Everything downstream — reconciliation, cash flow, the AI categoriser — depends on this feed existing.
