Stripe and IntuBu

Status: Available now. Card and ACH bank-debit payments on invoices, posted to the books when the money arrives.

How it works

Stripe Connect (Standard): you connect your own Stripe account and funds go to your bank. "Request payment" on an invoice creates a hosted checkout for card or ACH; a signed webhook posts the gross payment to a Stripe Clearing account and the fee to Merchant Processing Fees the moment it succeeds. ACH sits at processing until it settles and is recorded only then. Payout-to-bank matching, refunds and disputes are next.

Why it matters

Card fees are the most commonly mis-posted number in small-business books. Posting the fee at the moment it is known, against a clearing account, is what lets the eventual payout reconcile to the bank line.
