Tableau and IntuBu

How it works

The same read-only OData v4 feed as Power BI, at /api/odata. Create a read-only API key under Settings → API & Webhooks → Excel & BI, then in Tableau choose Connect → OData, paste the feed address and sign in with Username and Password — any user name, the API key as the password. The workbook returns exactly the rows the key's scopes allow; nothing is copied out of the books. No Tableau-specific connector is installed.

Why it matters

Tool choice should not change the security model. A BI connector that needs a privileged service account is how a carefully permissioned system quietly stops being one.
