TaxJar and IntuBu
Status: Available now. Sales-tax filing: your invoices and credit notes reported to TaxJar, which files and pays the returns through AutoFile.
How it works
Your own TaxJar API token, checked and stored encrypted. Under Taxes → E-file, pick a period and send it: each invoice goes to TaxJar as an order transaction and each credit memo as a refund, with the tax you actually charged — never recalculated — and a re-send updates rather than duplicates. TaxJar's AutoFile (switched on in your TaxJar account, per state) then files and remits the returns. Rate lookup at invoice time is not used; your own tax rates stay in charge.
Why it matters
Marketplace facilitator rules mean Amazon already remitted some of your tax. Filing it twice is a real and common error.
