Twilio and IntuBu

Status: Available now. Text messages to customers from your own Twilio number.

How it works

Your Account SID, auth token and sending number, checked with Twilio and stored encrypted. Texts payment reminders (with the pay link) on the reminder steps you tick, and service-visit notices ("on the way, about 10:40") when Service settings say Text. STOP replies — and Twilio's own opt-out refusals — put the number on a do-not-text list that is always enforced; point your number's "A message comes in" webhook at the address shown under Settings → Text messages to receive them. Every text is logged with what Twilio said. Voice is not included.

Why it matters

SMS collects overdue invoices materially faster than email, and the compliance risk is entirely in opt-out handling.
