Work that cannot be undone

Running payroll and filing a return are final, and nothing here pretends otherwise.

Two capabilities are marked irreversible: running payroll and filing a return.

For these:

• No rollback is offered, because there is nothing honest to put behind the button.
• They are never auto-approved, at any trust level.
• The screen says plainly that they cannot be undone before you approve.

A correction is a new act — a correcting entry or a later payroll adjustment — not an undo. Presenting a fake undo would be worse than having none, because it would be believed.
