Sending email from IntuBu

Messages go out through your own connected mailbox and file themselves against the customer.

Email & Calendar → Inbox.

Mail is sent through the mailbox you connected, so it arrives from your own address and appears in your own sent folder. Whichever route that account uses — SMTP, the Gmail API or Microsoft Graph — the message itself is built identically, so a recipient cannot tell which carried it.

A message that fails is kept, with the reason. It stays in the outbox rather than disappearing, so nothing anybody wrote is lost to a server being briefly unreachable. Failed messages are retried.

Encryption is not optional. If a mail server offers no TLS, sending is refused rather than putting a password and a customer's invoice on the wire in plain text.

Threads are matched to the CRM, so a conversation appears on the customer's timeline. If it attaches to the wrong record, use Re-match on the thread, or link it by hand.
