Meetings and calendar invitations
Send invitations that show Accept and Decline, and keep your connected calendar out of your booking availability.
Email & Calendar → Calendars.
Google and Microsoft 365 calendars connect with the same sign-in as the mailbox — one sign-in covers both. Apple iCloud, Yahoo and any other CalDAV server use an app-specific password.
Invitations go out as a proper calendar part, which is what makes a mail client show Accept and Decline rather than an unremarkable attachment. Rescheduling sends an update that actually moves the meeting in everybody's diary rather than arriving as a duplicate.
A connected calendar blocks time. Meetings already in your diary are read in and stop those slots being offered on your booking pages. An event marked free does not block anything — that is what "free" means, and treating it as busy would hide availability you actually have.
Use Sync now on a calendar to pull in changes immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled sync.
