How IntuBu compares to Acumatica
Where the two overlap, where Acumatica is stronger, and where it charges separately for things included here.
Acumatica is the closest true-ERP comparison, and it is the last column on the comparison page.
Where it is genuinely strong: dimensional general ledger, branches, inventory and warehouse depth, order management, project accounting, and — like us — no per-user fees. It is a real ERP, and on core financial and distribution depth it is ahead of most of the small-business field.
Where it charges separately for what is included here: manufacturing, field service, construction and retail are separately licensed editions. Sales tax and receipt capture come through add-ons.
Where it has native gaps: no bank feeds, no native payroll (third-party integration required), and no email marketing.
Where we differ by design: the cash-versus-accrual comparison, the continuous bookkeeping layer, the AI employee roster with its approval and guardrail model, the documentation-only help assistant, and guided migration.
On cost: Acumatica is resource- and consumption-priced with a quote-led sale and an implementation partner, typically starting around $6,400 a year and rising well beyond that with modules and transaction volume. Our comparison page includes a module-by-module cost view.
Every figure on the comparison page is dated, and the matrix carries honest concessions where a competitor is ahead.
