Customer statements

A period statement of everything a customer owes, in balance-forward or open-item form.

Two formats:

• Open item — every unpaid invoice listed individually. Best when customers pay invoice by invoice.
• Balance forward — an opening balance, then the period's activity, then a closing balance. Best for accounts with continuous activity.

Statement runs: generate for every customer with a balance at once, filtered by aging bucket so you can, for instance, statement only accounts over 30 days.

Customers can also pull their own statement any time from the customer portal without asking you.
