Google Meet, Zoom and Teams

Choosing where a booked meeting happens, and getting a real join link per booking.

Booking calendars β†’ New booking page β†’ How you will meet.

Each booking page has a meeting type, and each booking made against it gets its own meeting β€” not one shared link pasted into every invitation.

What you can choose:

  • Google Meet β€” a new Meet link per booking, created with the calendar event.
  • Zoom β€” a scheduled Zoom meeting per booking, with its own join link and dial-in.
  • Microsoft Teams β€” a Teams online meeting per booking, via Microsoft Graph.
  • Phone β€” either they give a number when booking and you call them, or your number goes in the invitation.
  • In person β€” an address in the invitation.
  • Another link β€” a fixed link you already have. This one is the same every time; use it for a personal room.
  • Decide later β€” no location, and you follow up.

Connecting a provider. Meet and Teams ride on the calendar connection you already have; Zoom needs its own. Connect them under Settings β†’ Email & calendar. Until then they are shown but cannot be picked, with the reason on the tile β€” a booking page set to a provider that is not connected would take bookings all week and send every one of them an invitation with no way to join.

Why the picker refuses things. A join link that does not work is worse than no link at all. So the check happens when you configure the page, not when a customer books at nine in the morning.

If the meeting cannot be created β€” the provider is down, or a token expired β€” the booking still stands. The invitation says joining details will follow, which is true and is something you can act on; a dead link is neither.

Zoom setup: create a General app (user-managed) in the Zoom Marketplace with the meeting:write and meeting:read scopes. A Server-to-Server app will not work: meetings are created as the connected user.
